Discover Cumings, Texas: A Small Residential Community

Cumings is located off State Highway 36 and Farm Road 723 about a mile north of Rosenberg in north central Fort Bend County. The small residential development along the Brazos River is situated on land that was probably owned by the Cumings family, and E. W. Cumings Street runs through the subdivision. Cumings, which began by the early 1990s, had a population of 683 in 2000.
