Harlow, Texas: A Brief History of the Lost Community

Harlow was a small community just west of State Highway 34 about four miles south of Greenville in central Hunt County. The settlement may have begun in the late 1800s and was named for the Harlow family in Hunt County. The town was shown on county highway maps in the 1930s and consisted of farms and a business establishment near the highway. No population figures were available, and by the 1980s the community no longer appeared on highway maps.
