A seventh generation Texan and native Houstonian, Kaleta founded her boutique fundraising company, Fortuna Consulting, after almost a decade of working in the political finance world. Kaleta graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a degree in International Politics. Her experience includes major donor fundraising for Presidential candidates, Governors, U.S. Senators and Congressmen, Texas State Senators and Representatives as well as a number of Political Action Committees. She also has extensive fundraising experience in the Arts and the nonprofit world. Kaleta currently serves on the Executive Board of the Blaffer Art Museum at the University of Houston, an institution her great-grandmother founded in 1973, and co-chaired their 50th Anniversary Gala in 2023. Kaleta also sits on the Board of Governors of Texas Ballet Theater and most recently joined the Board of American Friends of the Musée d’Orsay (AFMO) in Paris.
