Discover Oak Trail Shores: A Growing Community in Hood County

Oak Trail Shores is a residential community located east of Farm Road 2580, about four miles northwest of Granbury in north central Hood County. Construction of this development on Lake Granbury began in the 1970s. The first census figures for the town recorded a population of 1,750 in 1990. That number grew to 2,475 in 2000. Oak Trail Shores has a Baptist church and volunteer fire department.
