Discover Pecan Acres: A Growing Community Near Fort Worth

Pecan Acres is an unincorporated community located west of U.S. Highway 81 about twenty miles northwest of Fort Worth on the northwestern border of Tarrant County and southeastern border of Wise County. The community began as a residential development near the northeastern shores of Eagle Mountain Reservoir by the mid-1980s. In 1990 the population was 1,587. That figure had increased to 2,289 in 2000.
