Discover Pecan Hill: A Charming Community in Ellis County

Pecan Hill is a residential community located east of U.S. Highway 77 about nine miles northeast of Waxahachie in northern Ellis County. The city incorporated in the mid-1980s and by 1990 reported a population of 564. That figure increased to 672 in 2000. Pecan Hill has a mayor and council form of government.
