Discover Ratamosa: A Hidden Gem in Cameron County

Ratamosa is a residential community located about ten miles west of Harlingen in far western Cameron County near the Hidalgo county line. The first population figures were available in 2000 when the census reported 218 residents. The community is served by the La Feria Independent School District.
