Reid Hope King Community Overview

Reid Hope King is located north of State Highway 4 about five miles east of downtown Brownsville in southern Cameron County. This residential community existed by the 1990s and consists of primarily Hispanic, lower-income families. The first population figures were recorded in the 2000 census when Reid Hope King reported 802 residents. It is part of the Brownsville Independent School District.
