Spring Branch is a small residential community located on State Highway Spur 364, about six miles west-southwest of Tyler in western Smith County. Historically this region consisted of farms during the early twentieth century. During the years after the construction of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company plant in the early 1960s, Spring Branch was one of several housing developments in the area that grew to serve the families of plant employees. No population estimates were available for Spring Branch in 2000.
